Bangels are typically worn universally as ornaments for
beauty or fashion in many cultures including both Eastern and Western
societies. In Asia and India, both Classical dancers and Indian women wear
bangles with many types of dance costumes such as Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam,
Mohini Attam etc.,. Bangle is also the most essential component or item of the
dance jewelery set.
To select either yours or kid’s bangle size, choose a bangle
you are comfortable with and place it on a white A4 size sheet. Using a pencil
mark the inner circle of the bangle on the paper. Using a ruler measure the
diameter of the circle. This is the size of your bangle in inches, for ex 2.2.
Normally, school children under age 6 years old are comfortable with size 2.2
and 6-10 year old kids are comfortable with 2.4 or 2.6 size. 12 years old and
above can have sizes 2.6 and 2.8.
